Looking over the Three Peaks from the Road Out of Langclff in the Yorkshire Dales

I have painted Ingleborough many times, but this view on the winding road out of Langliff took my breath away.  It made me feel I was looking down from the sky towards them, I have walked all three separately and together, but never seen them all in the same place, ( Wherneside is the little squiggle to the left, which shows how mighty and far apart they are). A fascinating landscape, people have lived and worked here for thousands of years but it is still wild and remote.
